Connections: Charlotte’s Web is a animal fantasy. That means that the animals are given human feelings and human speech, which is also called anthropomorphized. Fantasy fiction portrays events that are impossible and Charlotte’s Web does that. For example pigs usually don't talk to the other barn animals such as the sheep, horse, geese, rat, or spiders. Also, I haven't seen a spider that spins words in her webs that are explaining how wonderful a pig is. So, that is another good example of the impossible.
Reaction: Personally I liked the story. I love how the unexpected animals become friends. Also, I like how this is a short version of the longer story. So, it makes it more easier and kid friendly with the layout of the words and because of how the sentences seem to be structured simpler.
